Koenig Jacobsen Obtains Plaintiff's Verdict

Koenig Jacobsen LLP recently represented an environmental clean up company where it had purchased several thermal/catalytic oxidizer trailers to be used at on-site locations. The manufacturer of the systems failed to manufacture or deliver the systems.

After numerous attempts to obtain the systems - without success - our client found it necessary to file its complaint against the manufacturer. At the conclusion of trial, the court awarded judgment on behalf of our client in the full amount requested of $93,000.00.

Koenig Jacobsen Receives Defense Verdict for Prominent Southern California Architect

Last week, Koenig Jacobsen LLP achieved a unanimous defense verdict for a prominent Southern California architect, after a twelve week jury trial before the Honorable Nancy Wieben Stock in the complex panel of the Orange County Superior Court.

The owner of a custom single family residence sued the architect, the general contractor, and various sub-contractors for alleged construction defects. Pursuant to the pertinent legal authority, in addition to the overwhelming evidence, the jury found the architect not liable for the plaintiff's alleged construction defects under either a breach of contract or negligence theory of liability, or for an alleged failure to perform interior design services.
